Hacking Facebook through Social Manipulation.

One the way to hack Facebook is Social Engineering, but the question asked by nearly all the people who are new to hacking scene is that "What is social Engineering and how to hack a (Facebook) account by it?"
So i decided to write this article to explain what it is and give a real life example of my own.

First lets see what Wikipedia have to say:

"Social engineering is commonly understood to mean the art of manipulating people into performing actions or divulging confidential information."


According to Hacker's Jargon Dictionary:
"Social Engineering: n. Term used among crackers and samurai for cracking

techniques that rely on weaknesses in  wetware rather than software; the aim
is to trick people into revealing passwords or other information that
compromises a target  system's security.  Classic scams include phoning up a
mark who has  the required information and posing as a field service tech or a 
fellow employee with an urgent access problem. "

So actually if you trick some one to give you the confidential information he is  manipulated by you. So now its clear that our beloved Phishing is also a kind of social manipulation. This might give you the size of it!

Lets get started:


So Phishing is a way to hack and its social engineering, but what are the other ways? Well apart from this you could trick the other person to give you his password. I know this might be really difficult but once you have mastered you could really make your name. Because the most wanted hacker of all times Kevin Mithnik actually used Social manipulation to hack though he himself couldn't write his own exploit!


An easy way is to guess the password from the information given, normally people use following things as their password:

• Date of birth
• Surname
• Phone Number
• School's name
• Girl Friend's name :)
• Favourite Movie
• Favourite Band
• Favourite Hero/Heroine 
• Favourite Fruit! (I used one when I was young!)

These are only some, but if you know the other person very well these might work!

Another idea is to manipulate the other person in giving you the Answer to their security Question! This is what I am going to cover in Real Life Example! 

"THE MAIN TRICK IS TO EXPLOIT THE TRUST BASE TO HACK!"

So it means you should exploit the trust that victim have in you to get the information, the trust could be of a friend, colleague or official (If you are pretending to be a Facebook guy who need their password).


REAL LIFE EXAMPLE:


Some months back my best friend challenged me to hack his Facebook account, unfortunately he was a reader of my blog and knew all the ways like Phishing or Keylogging. So I couldn't hack him for much time every time i tried i failed. So I though of social engineering. 
What I did first was to got the primary Email Address of Facebook, I got that easily by Visiting his Profile page. The email was in Hotmail!


So I opened the Hotmail password reset page > https://account.live.com/password/reset and gave his email this gave me the following page:

Here the security Question was " Name of Best Friend from Childhood?", it seemed pretty easy so started entering the name of all his friends but to my amazement the name was someone's whom i didn't knew.

So I went to the Chat and manipulated him. Following is some text from chat:

Me: Nothing, just getting ready for your party.

He: Ohh great, it is going to be fun!

Me: Yah i know, who else is comming?

He: Only you and [He named some which were not the answer]

Me: Hey havent you called you old friends? I wanted to meet them.
He: Nupp!!!
Me: Are in contact with them, BTW who is your best friend apart from our group?
He : Ohh my best friend apart form you people is Arslan.
Me: ohh great looking forward to the party! bye.

So those people who don't know ARSLAN is a name and to my Good Luck it was also the password! So I hacked his email and from their I hacked his Facebook account,


Don't worry no harm was done I just showed him that i did it and returned him the account because it is unethical to hack people to harm them. Real Hackers don't do this and I for my self only hack my dearest friends (who don't mind) for fun that all for me!
So from this example you people might have learn that how easy it is to hack through Social Engineering. But ALAS! the success rate is very low, but still where nothing works this works!

How To: Message on Facebook from any account.

Normally you receive a message from your friend on Facebook, but recently I found a very amazing Hack to send anyone message from whom-so-ever's account you want. This hack involve only basic knowledge of Facebook and computers.

Lets get Started.

For this trick first we need a Email Spoofing site, you could use http://emkei.cz/ or make your own site by following these easy steps > http://hackthepc.blogspot.com/2011/11/how-to-make-email-spoofing-site.html

Now we need two things for successfully sending a fake message:

• The Primary email of the person from whom you want to send the email, you can easily get it from Profile page of the person or ask him.
• The Username of the person whom you want to send the message. (like www.facebook.com/haseeblog ) here the haseeblog is the username. So the Facebook email will be haseeblog@facebook.com

Now you Just need to goto www.emkei.cz or your own email spoofing site that you had made. And fill the form. 

• In From Email give the Primary email of the person from whome you want to send the email.
• In To Email give the Facebook email of the person whom you want to send the message. E.g( haseeblog@facebook.com , where haseeblog comes from the username of the user.)

The victim will receive message like this , the problem is that the other person will also get a warning but still it can impress any one or scare the hell out of someone.

How to Hack Facebook Using Firesheep in WI-FI?

hOw to Hack Facebook account using Wi-Fi? 

Recently You mozilla add on namely " FireSheep" is used for hack thousands of email accounts . As reported by techcurnch, Firesheep has been downloaded more than 104,000 times in roughly within 24 hours.

What is the Special in FireSheep?
Using FireSheep add on you can control any account without knowing the username and password . Famous Social Network Facebook is victim of this Firesheep.

How?
The Firesheep uses HTTP Session Hijacking to gain the username and password.

What is HTTP Session Hijacking?
Attacker use HTTP session Hijacking to steal the cookies from victim. Cookies are file which contains the password and username .

Using this HTTP Session Hijacking method you can hack Facebook Google, Yahoo, Orkut, Flickr etc or any other email account.

How to use this Firesheep to steal the cookies?
You will need this requirements:

• Public wifi access
• winpcap
• Firesheep

Step 1:
Download the Firesheep file.
Right click on the file and select "Open With"
and select Mozila Firefox.

Step 2:

Once you have installed firesheep on firefox web browser, Click on view at the top, then goto sidebar and click on Firesheep 

Step 3:

Now click on the top left button "Start capturing" and it will start to capture the session cookies of people in your wifi network, This will show you the list of those people whose cookies are captured and have visited unsecured website known to firesheep, Double click on the photo and you will be logged in instantly .

After Double-Clicking on the image you will automatically logged in to your victim face-book account and have full access.

How to Spam someones Wall on Facebook. [Working 100%]

It is really annoying if your Facebook Wall is full with many messages. Recently I found the way of doing it and now i am sharing it with you people ;)

It is really easy to do it. All you need to do is to follow the following steps carefully.

#Step1: First you need to be on "http://" connection instead of "https://", so simple Login into your FB account and goto Account > Account Settings > Account Security. Over there "unTick" |Secure Browsing (https)|


#Step2: Now goto the Persons wall whom you want to spam , and then paste the following code into the address bar:

#Step3: Now a new box will pop up. In that type the number of times you want the message to be posted and click on "OK".


#Step4: After that type the message that you want to post and click on "OK"

How to Hack any Facebook account easily by Reverting/Reseting Password of your Victim - No Keylogging,Phishing Required

Here is one more interesting tip on how to hack a Facebook account by the method of reverting the password.This method does not involve any skill or anything just a brain would be enough to get you through this trick ! Well,you might think that it is impossible but it is actually true that you can hack any facebook account ! So before we start i would like to tell you what "Reverting" actually means...





What is Reverting ?

Reverting is the process of resetting a password without the knowledge of the actual user ! So this is basically a low level of hacking but it does the job for you !

How do I hack my friend's Facebook ?

Make sure your not logged in to your account.If you are then make sure you sign out and then follow the following methods

1.Go to this link:

http://www.facebook.com/help/contact.php?show_form=hack_login_changed /  http://www.facebook.com/help/contact.php?show_form=hacked_cannot_identify

That is the form that you will be using in order to hack your user.

2.Then in "Your E-mail Address" type your E-mail address.

3.Then apply the following options as in the image below.



4.Once you have done that,You will have a question asking "Email associated with the compromised account." - In that just type "No" and nothing else other than that !

5.In "Your contact email address." - Type your own email for you to receive the Password Reset Link.

6.In the "Full Name of the Account." - Type the Name of your victim if you know.If you don't then:

a.Try finding the Name of the victim by just searching his/her e-mail on Facebook.
b.If that doesn't work then google the E-mail address of your Victim,that might give you some details.
c.If that also doesn't work then use the following sites to get them

http://www.pipl.com/email/

So if you follow one of the above methods you should be getting the Full Name of your victim.Now lets move on to the next step

7."Date Of Birth" - In this column you have to enter the Birthday of your Victim.If you know him personally then you should be knowing it.If not you can just social engineer him and somehow make him tell it.Once you get it you have to enter it in that.

8."URL (web address) of your compromised profile." - This is just the profile URL of your Victim which can be got easily(Usually of the form: http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=99999)

9.Now your all set ! Before you submit the form just make sure you recheck the whole form if you have done the right thing.Once you do so just click on "Submit"

10.Thats it ! You have done it ! Now you just have to wait for Facebook team to look up for your request ! Once they approve it they will send a link to reset your victim's Password !

How to Delete any Facebook Account without accessing Victim's Profile

.In this article I will be telling you how to lock/delete your friend's Facebook Account.This tricks has been recently tested by me and is confirmed to be 100% working !




What you will be needing ?

1.Victim's Profile Link - ex.http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=112741086148511
2.Victim's Email - Which is being used to log into his Facebook Account.
3.Victim's Birthday - Can be found out easily if you know the victim personally or you can use social engineering to get the password !
4. Make an Email ID on Gmail or Yahoo with the same First name and Last name same as on victim's Facebook profile.

So you have to make sure you do the above steps in order to proceed.

How to do it ?

1.Go to this link :

http://www.facebook.com/help/contact.php?show_form=hack_nologin_access

2.Enter the appropriate details in the above page.In the TextBox "Email address where you can be contacted" enter the fake E-mail which you created.

3. You will get a mail on that ID in which Facebook Staff will ask your problem. Reply to them that you are "Someone"(Victim's name) and your unable to access your Facebook account. Also you have lost access to your Email Address associated with the account. You don't know what to do now. The hacker is coming online regularly and using your account. If the victim is a girl also write ' I am a girl and it poses threat to my social life ' and write anything you want that could make them take action to delete the account or something like that !(No need though in 100 % cases they delete the account).

4. After 2-3 days you will get a reply. They will again ask you that you have access to your associated Email or not? Reply them that you still don't have access to it. And repeat what all you wrote in first mail.

5.After that,the Facebook staff will automatically delete your Account in order to keep your privacy !

Thats it ! Your done with this simple trick !
